If I Were an Angel

If I were an angel I would bring you love in the day
and peace in your dreams.

If I were a butterfly I would fly to the heavens
and plea for more time.

If I knew how to heal I would offer my hands
to bid your pain farewell.

But I am not yet an angel,
I have no wings,
and my hands do not heal.

So once again I close my eyes
and send a prayer for our Sweet Cindy.

A whisper comes back filling my heart
and finally I see.

Your sisters are angels,
our prayers are your butterflies,
and your sweetheart has healed your pain.

I cry tears of joy
and thank our dear Lord
for giving the sweetest gift in the world... a family.

- Autumn

"You're my sweetheart." "And you're my honey."

Special Thanks
To Cindy's angels, Toni and Monica,
for helping me put this together.

LOVE AT THE LIPS

I was a poor college student, and had just saved enough money to buy my groceries. I was hungry. I was tired. I walked through the front doors of Albertson's and turned to the right. And there it was. This perfect picture on the cover of a book. I walked over to it. Stared at it. Nothing in my world existed anymore...just this photograph. My heart swelled. I was afraid to pick it up, I knew I would never be able to put it down again. I had to touch it. I ran my fingers down the thick paper cover. What's on the pages inside?

...I left the store that night with the book in one hand and a gallon of milk in the other.
-Autumn

"About three things I was absolutely positive.
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of him-
and I don't know how dominant that part might be-
that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him."
-Twilight

"Kisses are a better fate than wisdom."
-E.E. Cummings

"A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous."
-Ingrid Bergman

"How she felt when first he kissed her- like a tub of roses swimming in honey, cologne, nutmeg, and blackberries.

"The kisses which bring me back to life."
-George Sand

"With a kiss let us set out for an unknown world."
-Alfred de Musset
